Service Opportunities
These projects need volunteer help by teams from our Churches, Youth groups, clubs, Boy Scouts, or any interested families that want to help conquer projects for the Missions.
Outdoor Projects
- Yard preparation/landscaping, mulching trees, and level the yard for water control.
- Garden cleanup of weeds around the rows of berry bushes.
- Rebuild and cement the sidewalks.
- Finish installing the new post box, and cement around it.
- Resurface the roofs on the garage and 2 sheds.
- Repaint the sheep shed and clean inside from the stray cat's messes.
- Repair the mowing machines, chain saws, and older vehicles.
- Trim the apple tree, and possibly five others.
Inside of the Missions Alive Office
- Disassemble large film chain, copiers, some computer equiment and haul to salvage yard.
- Build a scene in the studio for two video teaching series.
- Develop and use a data program for storage of our resources in the film room.
- Develop the 16mm projection area and 8mm film chain.
- Partition the AV room for modules for the Children's crew..
- Catalogue the AV resources.
- Catalogue library.
Office Building Projects
- Rebuild the modular office. (40'x40')
Resource Building Projects
- Disassemble obsolete computers and haul to salvage.
- Reinforce the upstairs resource shelving and dispose of many items.
- Catalogue paper and equipment resources.
At the Waddelow's Home
- Repairing the ceiling tiles on back porch, plus the screen doors.
- Repair the roof leaks.
- Finish the back door entrance tile job.
- Mount a front door screen.
- Install door bells on back door.
- Tile around house for water control.
- Mulch around the trees. Takes two truck loads to complete.
