Our Staff ![]() Harvey and LeAnn Waddelow Executive Director (Harvey) Executive Secretary (LeAnn) (317) 834-2670 Graduates of Lincoln Christian College, Harvey and LeAnn Waddelow both served with African Christian Mission in Zaire, Africa for 13 years. Harvey is a past President of the National Missionary Convention (1983), and has been in over forty different countries assisting missionaries and preaching the gospel. Harvey and LeAnn founded Missions Alive in April 1983. Their own field experience showed them the vital, ongoing need to recruit and train missionaries for overseas work, and their special personal understanding of the distinctive constraints of missionary life makes the Waddelows and Missions Alive uniquely qualified to assist missionaries in their ministries. ![]() David Oldham KidzCan Program Director David Oldham's artistic career spans 25 years of bringing diversity, creativity, and spontaneity to any project. His ability to use current technology and styles allows him to deliver the best solutions while honoring the principles of good design. David's experience includes advertising design and production, direction of photo shoots, development of animation for video, CD-ROM and the web, including interactive presentations, plus shooting and editing video as well as recording, editing and mixing audio. Over the past five years, he has produced and maintained websites supporting ministries in the country of Haiti. David is married and lives in Greenwood, Indiana with his wife and three sons, all active members of Greenwood Christian Church. ![]() Melodie Halstad Drama Coordinator Melodie "Li" Halstead grew up on the stage. She has been involved in musical theater since she was carried on at the age of one. She studied music and theater after High School at IUPUI, Ball State, and Belmont College. Melodie has performed in various radio, live and television shows. Since 1989 she has coordinated, directed, choreographed and starred in church and community productions and loves working with young actors. ![]() Dan Silengo "A Live Visual" Program Director Artistic Coordinator, KidzCan Program Dan holds a BA in Biblical Studies with a minor in missions from Platte Valley Bible College. He participated in several mission projects throughout Mexico while earning his degree. Dan served as the Assistant to The Executive Director with Adventures in Missions located in Indiana, as well as Regional Recruiter in Colorado. Dan has lead several short-term mission projects in London, Ireland and Germany. He served as Minister with the Oregon Trail Chapel in McGrew, Nebraska; as well as Associate Minister with Canon City Christian Church located in Canon City, Co. |
